Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am just worried about these small whitish bumps on both sides of my vagina and I do not know what they are. I am kind of freaking out. Sometimes it itches but most of the time it does not, and they appeared out of nowhere.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

There may be various conditions ranging from just physiological vaginal cysts to some problems like herpes, warts that need medical treatment in cases of vaginal or vulval bumps. In order to get into the actual diagnosis, it is essential to have a look. Although it is advisable to seek medical help if the lesions are itchy, painful, smelly or with pus or blood-stained or ulcers. Development of ingrown hair after shaving Brazilian area is a common problem.

1. Ingrown hair gets better with time, no medical treatment required generally.

2. Genital herpes- tablet Acyclovir 400 mg thrice a day after food for seven days.

3. Genital warts- get them removed by a dermatologist by laser therapy.

4. Please note to use condoms during sexual activity, if you are unsure of the type until you seek medical advice.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
