Common "High Tlc" queries answered by top doctors | iCliniq

High Tlc

TLC stands for total leukocyte count. Normal white cell count ranges from 4000 to 10000. A high white blood cell count in the body occurs when the immune system destroys the infection. It also occurs due to emotional stress, cancer, bone marrow diseases, and immune system disorder. High white blood count in the blood can be reduced by taking vitamin C, antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids in the diet and avoid taking foods rich in fat, salt, and sugar.
