Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My father has been suffering from high blood pressure for two days. We met with a cardiologist, and I have the reports. Can you take a look at them? Our business has not been going well, so he has been quite tense lately. He had a similar issue two years ago.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have reviewed the echo report you provided (attachment removed to protect patient identity). It is a normal echocardiography report. Since your father is going through a tough phase and his blood pressure is elevated, it would be best to administer the antihypertensive medications prescribed by your doctor (you did not provide the drug details). After controlling his blood pressure, he may start to feel better.
I hope this helps.
Kindly revert in case of further queries.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
Yes, my father is taking the standard antihypertensive medication prescribed for all blood pressure patients. Also, the report indicates trace tricuspid regurgitation with no significant grade. What does that mean? Are there any other precautions we should take?
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Trace tricuspid regurgitation is a normal finding in echocardiography, so there is no need to worry about it. If possible, try to avoid situations that may increase stress and encourage him to engage in activities that make him calm and happy.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
