Is it possible to cure high blood pressure in a natural way?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 56 years old with a weight of 85 kilograms. I have high blood pressure, and my doctor advised me to take Novastat 5 mg daily. How to cure it naturally? Initially, my weight was 88 kilograms, and I have reduced it to 85 kilograms. I started to have this issue for ten years. I am attaching my reports. Kindly give your opinion.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You are taking a tablet for high blood pressure. It is a blood-thinning medication that prevents all the complications that remain associated with raised blood pressure and hypertriglyceridemia. All your blood pressure recordings (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity) are good, and you do not require to take any blood pressure-lowering medications. Continue taking Novastat 5 mg (Rosuvastatin) once a day before bedtime. Do exercise regularly. Have a walk for atleast 40 minutes daily. Do cycling or any sports activity. Reduce your salt intake and avoid drinking alcohol or take in low frequency and quantity. Quit smoking. Yoga is a natural way to heal it and do it along with moderate exercise. I hope this was helpful.
