Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

When I eventually have sex with my partner, I take emergency pills, and after taking those pills, I got two time periods in the same month. One time is a normal routine, and the second period comes after taking pills. Is that normal? I already feel so depressed for this reason.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your history and understand your concerns. Menstrual irregularities, in your case, could be due to hormonal imbalance caused by the emergency pill. As you took the pill on time, there is almost no chance of pregnancy in your case. So wait and watch for your menses. Get your home urine pregnancy test after seven days of your missed period date. I hope you found the information helpful.

Thank you.
