Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am going to be 35 years old in two months, and I am trying for my second pregnancy. I already have a son who is going to be 10 years old. I have been trying to conceive for the past three years but have been unsuccessful. I have not undergone any major treatments for pregnancy, but I have experienced two threatening miscarriages that were too early. I want to explore adopting embryos of good quality. How can I improve my egg quality to ensure a healthy pregnancy? What diet should I follow, and what exercises can I practice to reduce my weight from 189 to 154 pounds? I want to achieve good embryo quality because I have learned that embryo quality is also important for candidates undergoing IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatments. What lifestyle changes should I make? Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

While age is a major factor that affects the quality of the egg, some studies have shown that supplements containing Folic acid and Inositol can help reduce the drastic drop in egg quality after age 35. Additionally, a diet rich in antioxidants like vitamins C and E would help eliminate free radicals from your body, thereby reducing their damaging effects on your eggs and other parts of your body. Generally, aerobic exercise helps relieve stress and promotes healthy living.

Thanks for using icliniq, and have a nice day.
