How to treat indigestion and heaviness in the upper stomach?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am struggling with indigestion and feel something heavy in my upper stomach. I am not feeling hungry and am eating less diet that includes rice, water, and khichdi (porridge). I visited a doctor who prescribed Robidoc, Aciloc, and Livonic syrup. However, I have had no improvement; instead, I had vomiting after having food and taking the Robidoc medicine. I still feel something heavy in my upper stomach region, and this problem has been around for the last nine days. Also, I have a history of naval displacement. Kindly suggest.

Thank you.
