Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 23-year-old female. I have been undergoing a postpartum stage after a C-section delivery for my third baby. After a month, I noticed a little drop of blood from my anus, and something is outside my anus after passing hard stools, and I do not know what it is. Usually, I get constipated a lot of times. Drinking laxatives every two or three days a week help me avoid being constipated, and I put Proctosedyl ointments to help me soothe my anus whenever it gets itchy. I want to know how to rid of the skin tag like something on my anus without surgery or laser treatments.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You should go for a digital rectal examination once. Then only clear vision will be there, and you will get to know if you have any internal injuries or hemorrhoids. And after that, treatment can be decided accordingly.

The picture you have attached (attachment removed to protect patient identity) suggests external hemorrhoids, which can be removed later on if it is not harmful. If it is leading to any severe symptoms, then surgical intervention is not required.

Just make sure you pass stool without difficulties. If you become constipated, then again, bleeding might be there. So use laxatives when you are constipated. Eat a high-fiber diet.

Do you still experience pain? Did you have any active bleeding after that day?

Please let me know so I can help accordingly.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
