Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Please find my blood investigation report attached and provide me with the required steps to take further.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
As per your report, you have mild iron deficiency anemia. I advise you to take Iron supplements like a syrup containing Iron and Vitamins 10 mL thrice daily before food for six months. Also, your TSH level (thyroid-stimulating hormone) is slightly elevated, and it is suggestive of hypothyroidism.
Unless you are having any problems like weight gain, dry skin, cold intolerance, menstrual irregularities, or difficulty in conceiving, there is no need for medications at present. But repeat TSH after three months.
Your total cholesterol and LDL (low-density lipoprotein are slightly elevated. Start on a low-fat diet and start doing aerobic exercise for at least 15 minutes per day. Repeat your lipid profile after six months. All other reports are within normal limits.
I hope you are satisfied with my answer. For further queries, you can consult me at iCliniq.
Thank you.
