What could be the reason for sudden occurrence of bumps on the skin?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

All of a sudden, my skin changed from the last two days, and got bumps and feeling a bit dry. I am worried. Can you please tell me why I got these bumps?

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The bumps you refer to look like a kind of acne to me. Any change in the creams or soaps you apply to your face last few days? Any change in lifestyle, like excess travel, sun exposure, dietary changes, etc.? For treating it, apply Clindac cream (Clindamycin) daily twice over the area in a thin film. Use Salic 1 % face wash daily twice. Do not apply anything else (powder, cream, oil, soap, etc.) over the area. Avoid oily foods, chocolates for a fortnight. Please get back to me after that.

Thank you.
