Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am experiencing urine obstruction and constantly feeling like I need to urinate but cannot. I was also diagnosed with small kidney concretion a few months back and currently taking medicines.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have not mentioned how long you have had this problem and how kidney concretion was detected. Which medication was given for kidney concretion? At your age, urine obstruction problems can have many causes. It is essential to diagnose the cause first to plan the correct treatment. One of the most common causes is ureteric stone, bladder infection, or a blockage in the urine tube (stricture urethra). First, you must repeat your ultrasound at a good center and do a urine microscopy test. These tests will detect stone or urine infection problems if present. If both tests are normal, then a cystoscopy test(an endoscopy to see inside the urethra) will be needed to see for any stricture or other problems in the urethra. Once the problem is diagnosed, treatment can be planned. For now, I recommend you avoid too much coffee or tea and take 0.66 gallons of water daily, but less liquid after 6 PM, to avoid increased urine frequency at night.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
