Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 20-year-old male. I have very thin and few facial hairs. Earlier, I was somewhat overweight, but I have lost weight. I think my testosterone level is low. I am feeling very disturbed among my friends due to the lack of facial hair. Please help me. After reading on the internet, I found three methods: Rogaine, hair transplantation, and hormone therapy. Is there a best way to increase my facial hair growth?

Hi,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern

Do not worry, and please be informed that there are many causes for these symptoms. Therefore, treatments are also varied accordingly. There is not a single treatment option that fits all. It could be due to less production of hormones, loss of hormonal effect on tissues, loss of peripheral conversion of hormones, or excess conversion of hormones in peripheral tissues, among other factors. You need to consult an endocrinologist for a proper evaluation and management based on the diagnosed cause, which can be determined through a battery of tests. Let me know if you need further assistance.

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
