Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My sister-in-law is 15 weeks pregnant. Her last USG was done at 12 weeks. Last night she experienced mild leg cramps and a little pain around her waist. The pain around her waist got alright in about an hour. Her leg cramps got alright in the morning. She had a miscarriage eight weeks ago. So she is very anxious. She is feeling uncomfortable since morning due to cramps. My question is whether she should take rest today or go to the emergency room immediately.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

She is alright. I suggest she takes the capsule Duvadilan Retard (Isoxsuprine) once daily for 37 weeks. Consult a specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take medications with their consent. Ask her to take enough salt in her diet and coconut water twice a day for ten days. Check her temperature and pulse rate.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor for the reply,

She will do as you suggest. Can she have any other problems?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

No, she will not have any problems.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
