How to treat a painful pimple on penis?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 23-year-old male, 8.1 inches tall and weighing 138.9 pounds. I have been sexually active with my partner for two years, and she's had regular check-ups with a gynecologist with no issues.

Recently, I had a small lipoma on my penis for about six to seven months. It was bothering me, so I attempted to drain it, which resulted in pus and blood discharge. Now, it has turned into a larger pimple with more pus, and it has been like this for two days.

I am experiencing discomfort and pain during urination and overall discomfort. What should I do to treat it?

Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I am very sorry about your medical condition. Do not worry; I am here to take care of you.

Regarding your symptoms, you might be having a lipoma with acne vulgaris. You need to see a surgeon for the cyst.

I suggest you apply topical 2 % Resorcinol (once daily), 20 % Azelaic acid (once daily), or 5 % Dapsone gel (once daily).

I hope this information helps you.

Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

Thank you.
