Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 19 years old female. I have had this tiny bump on my anus, it is not painful unless I press hard on it. I have a family history of constipation issues as well as digestion issues. What could be the cause?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

Thank you for your query.

I think the information provided by you is inadequate for all three of these issues. Here is a list of things that I need to know for giving any specific advice.

  1. From when do you have constipation?
  2. Who else in your family has constipation?
  3. Do you need to strain stools?
  4. It is tight stools or is infrequent?
  5. Do you have a sense of incomplete evacuation?
  6. Do you ever need to remove stools with a finger?
  7. When is the first time you saw blood in stools?
  8. How frequent is it?
  9. Is there any pain with passing stools?
  10. Is the blood mixed with stools or is it like a streak over the stools or blood drops dripping after passing the stools?
  11. When did you first notice the anal bump?
  12. Does it come out of anus or does it appear by the side?
  13. Does it go back on its own or do you need to position it inside?

Take a picture and attach it with the query for follow-up.

You said you are anemic and have a calcium deficiency. How do you know that? If you were tested kindly upload the investigation report. Your anemia can be because of iron deficiency which can be because of high-flow periods or this bleeding. Also describe your average dietary habits and lifestyle, so that I can advise a fix for that.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
