Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 18 years old. I noticed a big bump on my chest, and when I touch it, it hurts. I searched on the internet about it, and I think it is called a lump. I am not sure what it is, and my mom does not have time to take me to the doctor. I would really appreciate it if you could help me.

Thank you.

Hi,

We welcome you to icliniq family.

I appreciate the confidence you place in me for your healthcare consultation.

I understand your concern.

Actually, such a lump occurs due to infection, such as streptococcus. So most probably, you have an infective lump, and it will likely subside in five to seven days. I would suggest applying ointment Soframycin (Framycetin sulfate) on it twice a day. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take the medicines with their consent. Can you please attach a picture of it? I will check and let you know. Have you noticed any discharge from the lump?

I hope this has helped you. Please feel free to reach me again, in case of further queries.

Thank you.
