Lymphoid hyperplasia is expected in infections, but since tuberculosis has been taken care of, there is nothing to worry about. Well, as I can see, there are two reports (the attachments have been removed to protect the patient's identity). The first one was suggestive of tubercular lymphadenitis. However, after taking ATT (antitubercular drugs) for nine months, it has resolved, and now follow-up FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology) suggests no evidence of tuberculosis. Instead, it shows simple lymphoid hyperplasia.

This is nothing to be worried about. Specific nodes remain enlarged for a long time or permanently after they become enlarged due to certain infections. The original disease may be taken care of, but nodes can persist. As long as they do not grow in size or change in character, like become extra hard or extra soft or ulcerate or become fixed to skin or deeper tissues, they do not pose any significant risk. In such a scenario, observation for any noticeable change in character is suggested.

There is no wrong with trying homeopathic medicines, but asymptomatic lymphoid hyperplasia needs no treatment except for treating underlying tuberculosis in your case and which you have treated.

Reactive hyperplasia will resolve in a few weeks; however, chronic lymphadenitis might take longer, even years, and some might not even resolve completely. Thanks and regards.
