Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been masturbating since I was 18 years old and now I am 31. I am unmarried and I feel less potency in having real sex. Also, my penis is becoming very small and bent. Is it normal or there is any problem? I want my semen quantity more and healthy sperm. What to do and how to fix this. How to stop masturbation? Sometimes I feel my leg, hand, or other parts of my body tingling. Is it normal or what is the cause?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

First of all, I would like to mention that masturbation does not cause any weakness or sexual dysfunction contrary to popular belief. The thing which causes problems is the guilt associated with it due to cultural beliefs. Also, note that penis size does not affect your sexual performance, and it is a great myth related to size and curve. So relax you will be fine. Take care of your posture, it is important. Besides following steps can be of help:

  1. Exercise regularly and take a balanced diet rich in antioxidants and omega fatty acids.
  2. PMR can be of help. Shavasan (yoga) is also helpful.
  3. Manage stress, play a sport, or spend at least one hour daily on your hobbies.
  4. Remember every problem has a solution you just need to try solving it and help is just a step away.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
