Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been dealing with a serious issue related to masturbation. A few nights ago, while masturbating, I noticed that after I finished, my penis had become noticeably smaller, which caused me to become quite anxious. It is been a week now, and my penis has not returned to its usual state. My penis is unusually soft and slightly grayish, and there might be reduced blood flow. Also, I am unable to achieve an erection. Before this incident, I had no trouble getting and maintaining an erection. I did experience morning erections on a couple of occasions over the past few days, but they were only about half the size of my usual full erection, and they disappeared shortly after occurring. Concerned about these changes, I researched and took proactive steps. I have incorporated regular walking and jogging into my morning routine, and I have started consuming fruits like bananas. I also came across information suggesting that supplements such as high-quality fish oil and magnesium tablets could potentially aid healing. Despite these efforts, I am still worried. I have difficulty maintaining a positive and clear mindset when facing challenges like this. Please help.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

I want to clarify that masturbation is a normal and safe practice that most humans engage in at some point in their lives. It does not lead to weakness, impotence, or any other health problems. Therefore, the issue you are facing is not a result of masturbation but could be attributed to a different cause. One potential cause might be severe anxiety, which could be affecting your ability to achieve and maintain erections. I suggest refraining from constantly checking for erections. Instead, try to remain relaxed for a few days and abstain from masturbation during this period. It is important to adopt a healthy lifestyle as well. I suggest you consider taking supplements containing L-arginine and Yohimbine, as these could potentially help improve the strength of your erections.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to ask if you have any further questions.

Thank you.
