Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have a cyst for the past one week and it is painful. Doctor gave me the tablets and now I do not have any pain. What should I do? Please suggest me.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com. Based on the pictures you provided, it appears to be a ganglionic cyst, which is a swelling that typically occurs in the joint. These cysts often resolve on their own over time. However, they can sometimes cause pain and discomfort, which can be managed with NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). If the cyst continues to grow or if it causes persistent pain or numbness, surgical removal may be necessary. As it has recently appeared, my recommendation would be to monitor it for now and use pain medications as needed. Typically, it takes about four to eight months for a ganglionic cyst to completely resolve.
Patient's Query
Thank you doctor,
My doctor prescribed me Aceclo plus. Is that for pain relief or to decrease the cyst? Within how many days will the cyst get resolve?
