Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I had a miscarriage ten days back, and the clot came out, but I did not get any bleeding or period after that. Is there any serious issue, or should I do any tests to look for the presence of something inside?
While I was pregnant, my gynaecologist started the Cor 3 tablet. Why did this miscarriage happen?
Please explain.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Your ultrasound report shows that the abortion has been completed (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). Only a tiny clot of 6 mm is seen in the uterine cavity. This is normal after an abortion.
If the miscarriage was not induced (caused by giving medication), bleeding may not be very severe. So do not worry. And regarding your next period, you will get it on time or with a few days of delay. Causes of miscarriage may be the following;
1) If the baby's growth was not adequate.
2) If the baby had any anomalies, the body itself would reject the pregnancy.
3) In case of any hormone imbalance in you.
4) If you had any fever or stress during the time.
5) Thyroid hormone imbalance.
6) It may be a one-time thing and may not occur again.
So do not worry. If this is your first miscarriage, do not be discouraged. There is a chance that your subsequent pregnancy will be alright. So stay stress-free.
Regards.
