Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had a 14-week miscarriage two months ago and I am still bleeding with the possible retained product and have lost a lot of weight since. I had a perisac hemorrhage, which was found at my seven-week ultrasound and continued to grow with the pregnancy. I had a DNC on the day I miscarried and I had lost 1.7 liters of blood. I am still bleeding with no answer. I am worried I have something much more serious that could cause me to become infertile. I had one healthy baby at 16 and over a year ago I started trying for my second baby. I have now had four back-to-back miscarriages. Doctors just keep telling me to wait but I cannot wait anymore. I have been trying to figure out why I am having miscarriages for over six months and still no answer or really no extensive testing has been done. I am a 19-year-old and I think I should not be having these many issues with keeping a pregnancy, especially when my first pregnancy had no issues.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

I have gone through your case and I understand your concern. First, you should concentrate to stop the bleeding and you should be healthy enough to carry a baby. As you said you had given a birth to healthy child before so there would not be any big issue for the second child. As per your description you had lost 1.2 liters of blood and you still bleeding and which is not a good sign for your health. Can you please mention which medications you took to stop the bleeding and which investigations you have done? Kindly attach all the files so I could help you.

Thank you.
