Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Ever since I was a teenager, I have had two white dots on my penis, and I have always been to the doctor, and they never said anything, but now they have turned red and have gotten bigger, and a couple more has grown. I am not sure if it is from the oil present in the lotion I use. I am really scared. Seven months ago, a girl gave me gonorrhea, but I got cured.
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Is there a cure for it? And no doctor, I do not have any symptoms. And no sexual contact in seven months. But I think my masturbating habit is making it worse. What do you think?
Please suggest.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
It could be molluscum contagiosum or Fordyce spots of the penis. Both are asymptomatic. If they are rapidly increasing in number, then it is going in favor of molluscum contagiosum. If they are slowly growing and not increasing in number, they could be Fordyce spots. Both conditions are easily curable. Molluscum contagiosum, in most cases, subsides on its own in six months, while Fordyce spots are completely harmless and need to be removed by laser.
I hope it helps. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Regards.
