Thanks for sharing the picture (attachment removed to protect patient identity). You have a fingernail fungal infection, known as onychomycosis. You will need to take the following medications for six to eight weeks once a day. You will start seeing results slowly, but the full effect might take up to four to six months, but you do not need to continue this medication beyond eight weeks. Take a tablet of Terbinafine 250 mg once a day for eight weeks.
