Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have twin girls who are 6 months old. They have had nasal congestion for the past two months. I have been using nasal sprays and antihistamines; however, there has been no luck. They do not have a fever or cough. Also, the quality of air is not good at our place. Also, I have a 5-year-old son who complained of adenoid enlargement, which was removed when he was three years old. Kindly suggest a remedy for my babies.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I suggest you use saline nasal spray. Oxymetazoline drops must be avoided in the long term. I suggest the below treatment plan for your babies till the age of one year to improve their immunity:

1. Vitanova D3 drops (Cholecalciferol) half ml once daily.

2. Zincovit drops (multivitamin) one ml once daily.

3. Feris drops (Iron and Folic Acid) 1 ml once a day.

4. Ostebon suspension (Calcium and Vitamin D3) one teaspoon twice a day.

Consult a specialist doctor, talk to him or her, and start the medicines with their consent.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
