Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I turned my neck quickly to the right, and I felt pressure on my neck. Then my neck was stuck to the right for three seconds. When I was able to put my head looking straight, it came back to normal. It was painful. I had a weird taste in my mouth. I also felt dizzy and weak after it.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have neck muscle dystonia which causes severe pain especially when you move your neck. I recommend you use local deep heat cream (Propylene glycol and Lanolin) thrice daily for one week and use Ibuprofen 400 mg as a painkiller for a few days.
