Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been experiencing a nightfall issue for the past four years. I do not know what steps to take. I do not intentionally expose myself to sexual content, and I notice that the problem recurs each night. Despite my efforts, including exercise, the situation remains unchanged. I am 20 years old and have noticed symptoms such as low stamina, a significant weight loss from 150 to 121 pounds, and a dizzy feeling when I stand. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern about nocturnal emissions. Kindly note that experiencing wet dreams or nightfall is normal, often occurring due to increased erotic stimuli, whether mental, physical, or visual, without engaging in sexual activity or masturbation. Given your age, testosterone production is typically high, leading to a significant production of semen. If you do not release it through masturbation or sex, it can happen naturally during relaxation, such as during sleep.

To address this issue, I would suggest you consider the following:

  1. Reduce the frequency of erotic stimuli.
  2. Limit the intake of caffeinated beverages and foods in the late afternoon.
  3. Take a cold shower before bedtime to decrease excessive sensitivity in the genital region.
  4. Manage stress levels, as stress can contribute to this phenomenon.
  5. Avoid sleeping on your back or stomach, as these positions can increase the likelihood of sleep orgasms.
  6. Exercise regularly to keep your body and mind relaxed.
  7. Avoid watching or reading erotic content before bedtime.
  8. For a temporary solution, you can try the tablet Pari (Paroxetine) 10 mg once a night for 15 days.

If the issue persists or worsens, I would suggest you consult with a specialist for further guidance.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
