Hi,

Can Co Etidrocal- Etidronate disodium 14 days course & Calcium Carbonate 75 days after Etidisodium be taken on the same day, one in the morning and other in the evening?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

  • I assume, you are taking both these drugs for osteoporosis.
  • I usually do not prefer to use Etidronate as it has to be taken daily.
  • And there is nothing like 14 days course. We have better options, to be taken once a month only.
  • However coming to your query, I do not find any problem in taking both of them same day.
  • But in this case, gastritis may be a little more.
  • I always prefer to add vitamin D3 with the calcium, because if Vitamin D3 levels are low, there would not be much effective absorption of calcium.
  • I hope I was able to solve your query. Kindly discuss with your doctor and re-consider your prescription.
