Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

I have seen your reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). It shows a hemorrhagic cyst of around 6 cm. Although you have not mentioned your detailed history, it seems you have been suffering from polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD) and have had irregular periods, weight gain, and cystic ovaries. I think a few of the cysts disappeared without treatment (but I think those cysts were not hemorrhagic and that much in size). Have you felt pain, abdominal fullness, pre, and intermenstrual pain or painful micturition? Asymptomatic small cyst, significantly less than 4 cm, resolves itself without treatment. Cysts more significant than 5 cm need further investigation and are better to be removed, especially if they show symptoms.

Kalarchi Choornam is an herbal treatment that is used with honey. You can ask for dosage from a specialist doctor if you want to try it. However, a large, hemorrhagic cyst around 6 cm can rupture and show a spill of fluid inside the pelvis can cause infection and sepsis. Chances of cancer are rare with cysts. Consult your nearest gynecologist and do a serum CA 125 (cancer antigen 125) test and a scan. Removal of the cyst is the most likely treatment. It has more advantages as the cyst will go for histopathology evaluation and cannot cause emergency symptoms like rupture inside, infection, sepsis, or causing symptoms. Try to reduce weight with a healthy balanced diet and exercise.

Thank you.
