Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have had papules on my vagina and clitoris for three to four months.

Answered by Dr. Uzma Arqam

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

This is a too-short description of your health issue. I would suggest you have a local hysteroscopic examination done by a specialist, maintain strict hygiene, and wear soft, comfortable cotton undergarments. Use condoms to avoid sexually transmitted infections and get a swab test done. After swab collection, take Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily and take Metronidazole 400 mg 8 hourly for 14 days.

It might be possible that the papule needs excision removal and to be sent to histopathology for further evaluation.

I hope this information will work.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
