Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 56 years old, and my height is 5 feet, and my weight is 146 lbs. I crave salty and fried foods. I am becoming short-tempered and have PCOS. I also have indigestion problems.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. The file you shared (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity) indicates a couple of abnormal values. As you are already diagnosed with PCOS, I would like to know if you are on any medications. As PCOS varies from person to person and along with medications, regular exercise has helped people. Here are few things that you can adapt to get control of things. Regular exercise is very important. Along with that, consult a dietician and get a diet chart for yourself. This will help you lose weight in a healthy way and gain the necessary nutrients that you currently lack. Regarding indigestion, this also has many underlying causes, and stress can be a cause for this although, the pathological cause needs to be excluded. So for that, I suggest you consult a gastroenterologist. He will be able to guide you with appropriate management. I hope this helps. Feel free to contact for any further query in the future.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
