Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 20-year-old, and I have been taking Krimson 35 since last month for PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome). I had unprotected sex on the 18th day of taking Krimson and consumed alcohol. Unfortunately, I missed Krimson on the 20th day. I did not get my period till now. Is there any chance of getting pregnant? How long should I wait? Are there any problems? Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.

You missed a dose of Krimson (Cyproterone and Ethinyl Estradiol) on the 20th day, and you may have ovulated earlier than expected. Since you had unprotected sex on the 18th day of taking medicine and consumed alcohol, which can lower inhibitions and potentially lead to risky sexual behavior, there is a chance of pregnancy. However, the length of your menstrual cycle can vary due to PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), and you may still ovulate later than usual. You should continue taking Krimson as prescribed and monitor your symptoms closely. If you experience any signs of pregnancy, such as nausea, fatigue, or a missed period, you should take a pregnancy test and consult a gynecologist. In the meantime, it is necessary to use a reliable form of birth control, such as condoms or a hormonal contraceptive, to prevent unintended pregnancy. Consult a gynecologist or fertility specialist if you have any worries about your menstrual cycle or fertility. They can offer you information that is specific to your situation.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
