Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had an injury to my penis during intercourse where my penis slipped out and hit part of my spouse's body, making my penis bend and causing tremendous pain. I did not hear a pop, and there was no bruising or blood. However, it has been over six weeks and I still have pain with an erection, on the underside of the tip of my penis below the head. Is this simply a strain or possibly something more serious? The pain is causing marital issues, as the pain kills the erection.

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

If there was no bruising, and still able to achieve an erection, it is very less in fracture. There might be tearing of some fibers out of the multilayered tunica albuginea. This will heal with time. Sometimes in a few months. Presently you require an anti-inflammatory pain medication, low dose Tadalafil (5mg) used for BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia) patients to support erection.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
