Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a problem with my penis. When I remove the foreskin of penis, the head portion remains sensitive. It causes swelling if I touch it or rub it with any clothes. Is there any natural remedy?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have hypersensitivity of glans penis. Using topical ointments or sprays reduces sensitivity and it has to be used safely on the penis. This helps to reduce the risk of developing premature ejaculation. Using numbing sprays and other products containing anesthetic medications helps a lot. Taking oral antidepressants such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) helps a lot. It blocks the effects of serotonin while having ejaculation. Stronger SSRI can cause erectile dysfunction and other side effects. Taking cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or other forms of talk therapy helps a lot. Penile injury, tight frenulum, tight foreskin, or infection can cause hypersensitivity. They require specific treatment. Taking sun therapy helps a lot. You can apply olive oil over glans twice daily for dry skin. Wash your head of the penis using mild soap and water twice daily.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
