Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I injured my penis during sex before four days. Now I have a slight pain in the middle of the penis at the bottom with a noticeable swelling (like a vein or a rope). And I am experiencing more frequent erections but with less intensity. During an erection, the lower surface swells more than the upper surface. The penis forms like a cone, and the glans feel more difficult to enlarge. The penis feels hard at the bottom center, even at rest. Specifically, the glans are more deflated and clearer than usual while standing up. There is no visible bruising, and I do not have any urination problems. There are some greyish and reddish spots under the penis. I do not have any other particular disturbances regarding this other than a lot of anxiety.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The picture you provided (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity) appears to be an injury, and the swelling is due to a blood clot. I suggest you apply a cold compress. I would also recommend low-dose Aspirin 150 mg daily for a few days and Serratiopeptidase 10 mg to reduce swelling. If there is no improvement, it is better to get examined physically by a doctor.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

I can understand that there is nothing serious, and at present, I have to wait and watch. But, does the blood clot resolve by itself?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Small blood clots resolve on their own. But I suggest you take the steps mentioned earlier.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
