Hi doctor,
I used a penis pump recently because I am insecure about the size of my penis. A few days ago, I used it twice, once for like 20 minutes at five to seven hg of pressure and 10 minutes at five hg of pressure, and now I have some dull and shooting pain in my pelvic floor and penis base. I am worried that I have permanently injured myself. I would like to know your opinion on this. Please help.

Using pumps can cause congestion in the penis and urethra, resulting in the sensation you describe. Higher pressures might result in damage that will resolve on its own. My advice is to stop using the pump immediately since it is dangerous. It cannot cause permanent damage, but you cannot be certain now. You must monitor yourself for up to six months before ensuring no harm. The current acute problem is due to congestion, which will clear in a few days.
