Hi,

Welcome to iCliniq.com. Phentermine is a medication that is typically used for a short period of time, usually a few weeks, as an adjunctive treatment for weight reduction in patients with an initial body mass index (BMI) equal to or greater than 30 kg/m². Cymbalta, which contains the active ingredient duloxetine, has a serious interaction with Phentermine. When taken together, they can increase the toxicity of each other and pose a potential risk for serious or life-threatening interactions. Additionally, there is a risk of developing serotonin syndrome, which is a condition caused by excessive levels of serotonin in the body and can be life-threatening. Therefore, based on these interactions and risks, I would not recommend the simultaneous use of Cymbalta and Phentermine. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
