Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

What you are describing, phimosis along with itching, a purple patch, and yellowish discharge, most commonly suggests a local infection and inflammation under the foreskin, known as balanitis or balanoposthitis, especially when the foreskin is tight and cannot be retracted properly.

When the foreskin cannot be pulled back easily, moisture, sweat, and urine can become trapped underneath. This creates an environment where bacteria or sometimes fungal infections can grow, leading to symptoms such as itching or irritation, yellowish discharge, and discoloration or patches that may appear red, purple, or inflamed.

The purple spot you are noticing is often related to irritation or inflammation, but it is still important to have it examined by a healthcare professional to rule out other possible causes.

At your age, treatment is usually started with medication rather than surgery. This may include topical antifungal or antibiotic creams depending on the cause, gentle hygiene using lukewarm water without harsh soaps, and, in some cases, a mild steroid cream to help reduce the tightness of the foreskin. It is important not to forcefully retract the foreskin, as this can cause small tears and worsen the condition. If the problem keeps recurring or the foreskin remains very tight despite treatment, a minor procedure or circumcision may be considered as a long-term solution.

Because there is discharge present, it is important to get a proper medical evaluation, and a doctor may examine the area and take a swab if needed to identify the exact infection.

Overall, this is a common and treatable condition, but it should not be ignored. Getting it checked early will help ensure the right treatment and prevent complications.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
