My pimples are getting worse. What will I do?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 17 years old and suffering from pimples for the last two weeks. It is increasing day by day. So what will I do? Please suggest some medicine. Thank you.

Hi,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern and will try to help you with it.

It is essential that you drink 1.05 gallons of water as constipation can cause pimples. Once a regular bowel movement is established, you could apply Oxidoben cream (a combination of Adapalene and Benzoyl peroxide) at night over the pimples. It will dry them up and shed them away. Continue it for three weeks. Avoid unnecessary use of facewash as dry skin can also cause pimples. Wash your face with plenty of water during the day. Also, I suggest a capsule Azithromycin 500 mg once every day on sunday, monday, and tuesday for two weeks.

Thank you for consulting me.

You can always reach me at icliniq.com.
