Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My wife is 2 months pregnant. On ultrasound, no growth and heartbeat is seen. What can we do? Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I am very sorry for both of you and I understand your concern.

If there is no heart beat after two months, then the baby will not be alive. Consult a gynecologist at the earliest and take medicines to abort.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

My wife's last period date and the term of pregnancy does not coincide. Why?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

If we consider the date of fertilization, then she has completed eight weeks that is nearing two months. I suggest you repeat the scan after three to four days with a different sonologist and then decide. If still no heart beat, then better to terminate. Do not worry. This baby must be having some chromosomal abnormalities and the nature itself terminated it if no heart beat. She can conceive after two cycles and have a normal baby.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
