Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Many couples need a little time before pregnancy happens, so try not to feel discouraged. At 29 years old, your chances are generally good. Here are the most important things that help improve the chance of getting pregnant.

1. You should track your ovulation. You are most fertile during the five days before ovulation and the day of ovulation.

  • Track your menstrual cycle (ovulation usually happens about 14 days before the next period).

  • Watch for egg-white cervical mucus.

  • Use ovulation predictor kits.

  • Having intercourse every one to two days during the fertile window increases the chance of pregnancy.

2. Maintain a healthy lifestyle. Your current weight is in a healthy range, which is good for fertility. Continue to:

  • Eat balanced meals (fruits, vegetables, protein).

  • Exercise regularly.

  • Sleep well.

  • Reduce stress.

  • Avoid smoking and alcohol.

3. Take a vitamin with 400 to 800 micrograms (mcg) of Folic acid daily. This helps support early pregnancy and prevents certain birth defects.

4. Limit things that affect fertility.

  • Limit caffeine to one to two cups of coffee per day.

  • Avoid excessive alcohol.

  • Avoid lubricants that may reduce sperm movement (unless fertility-friendly).

Check your cycle. If your periods are irregular, very painful, or very heavy, it may indicate conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, or hormonal imbalance, which may need medical evaluation.

You should see a fertility specialist if you have been trying for 12 months without pregnancy (under age 35), if your periods are irregular, or if you have a history of pelvic infection or miscarriage. A doctor may check for issues such as ovulatory dysfunction or blocked fallopian tubes.

I hope you are satisfied with my answer. For further queries, you can consult me at iCliniq.

Thank you.
