Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Please provide second advice on reports. I would like to know if any other tests I should undergo apart from the existing ones.

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your reports. Please share your history or complaints.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

It is for a premarital checkup. I did not have intercourse for the last eight years. It is just a casual check-up which I have done now. I did some research on the tests and would like to know if the below-mentioned tests are also required to be done or the above tests are enough. Thalassemia test. Sickle cell trait. STD(Sexually Transmitted Disease) panel. Especially, the STD panel tests are completely different from HIV 1 and 2. Please guide me in understanding these.

Hello, Welcome back to icliniq.com.

All the tests are within the normal limit. There is no need for further testing. Regarding thalassemia and sickle cell anemia, there are no such guidelines for these tests in otherwise healthy individuals who do not have a family history of the disease. Human Immunodeficiency (HIV 1 and 2) are included in the STD panel test. Hope it helps. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
