Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
How to get out of PE (premature ejaculation)? Kindly help me.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
This can happen due to performance anxiety, depression, or hormonal imbalance and not due to previous masturbation.
My advice is to get these blood tests done and revert.
Also, while masturbating, try to stop just a few seconds before you ejaculate. This will help a lot. Finally, learn to do the Kegel exercise.
Kegel Exercise - First is to find the pelvic floor muscles (pubococcygeus - PC muscle). Then, the next time you urinate, stop or slow it mid-flow. The muscles used to stop urinating is your PC muscle. Do not tense your legs, abdomen, or buttocks muscles. Instead, focus on lifting your entire pelvic floor upward. Most importantly, continue to breathe through the contraction of your pelvic floor. If you can stop or slow your urine mid-stream, you have just successfully located and contracted your pelvic floor muscles. If you are having a hard time, it is the same set of muscles you use to tighten your anus. Now you are ready to Kegel.
Contract your pelvic floor muscles - When you are ready to do Kegel exercises for men, you first need to contract your pelvic floor muscles.
Hold the Kegel contraction - Hold that contraction for as long as possible. Most men cannot hold a Kegel at first for no more than a couple of seconds. Some may not be able to hold it at all. But that is what penis exercises are for. So make a note of how long you can hold the Kegel.
Release the Kegel contraction and repeat – Release the squeeze and repeat ten times. Gradually build your Kegels until you can hold them for 10 seconds each.
