Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com. I read your query and can understand your concern.
Premature ejaculation usually occurs prior to or within about one minute of vaginal penetration. Depression is a major cause of premature ejaculation. You are already taking a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) in the form of Fluoxetine. If you still have symptoms of depression after taking Fluoxetine switch to tricyclic antidepressants like Clomipramine (Anafranil). Take the pill two hours before the sexual act. Combining Fluoxetine with phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors like Sildenafil also helps. However, please consult a physician, discuss with them, and start taking the medications with their consent. Topically applying an anesthetic like Lidocaine (Promescent) over the penis shortly before the sexual act can delay ejaculation. However, it can not be used for the long term as it may reduce libido. Meditation is a good way to counteract depression and prolong ejaculation time. Masturbation 1 to 2 hours prior to the sexual activity increases the ejaculation time. Kegel exercises might help you after 12 weeks of exercise sessions.
A few other ways to prolong ejaculation time are-
The start-and-stop method: Either you or your partner should stop sexual stimulation at the point when you are about to have an orgasm, and resume once the sensation of impending orgasm has subsided.
The squeeze method: Whenever you feel that ejaculation can occur during sexual intercourse ask your partner to squeeze the end of your penis, at the point where the head (glans) joins the shaft, and maintain the squeeze for several seconds, until the urge to ejaculate passes. After the squeeze is released, wait for about 30 seconds, then go back to foreplay. And above all talk to your partner about the situation.
I hope this helps.
Thank you and take care.
