Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have three children and have been sexually active with my wife for eight years, but recently I suffered from a sexual issue that causes me to ejaculate within 10 seconds of having intercourse. Even though I am unable to visit the clinic or see the doctor, I am now embarrassed by this condition. How can I get help?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand you being worried about your symptoms. There are several causes for premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation is impacted by stressful occupations, night shifts, 24-hour shifts, diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid problems. Controlling your blood pressure, blood sugar, and thyroid hormones will be beneficial. Other things that may help include being on long-term antipsychotic and hypertension medication, watching excessive porn, engaging in frequent or prone masturbation, not knowing enough about female foreplay, feeling guilty after having an affair, not exercising, and being obese.

I suggest you follow a few instructions mentioned below.

  1. You need to check your fasting and postprandial blood sugar levels to rule out diabetes, along with your blood pressure and thyroid levels (T3 (triiodothyronine), T4(thyroxine), thyroid stimulating hormone) to rule out thyroid issues.

  2. You can take the tablet Duralast 30 mg (dapoxetine) as a temporary solution. However, kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take medications with their consent.

The following are some natural solutions to this problem:

  1. Lengthening the foreplay phase of sex: For a healthy blood flow to the penis for a long and powerful erection, women should engage in foreplay for 15 to 20 minutes, while males should engage in foreplay for 10 to 15 minutes. The foreplay should be easygoing. Your spouse should learn how to enjoy foreplay in a way that does not include ejaculation.

  2. You could listen to soothing music.

  3. Condoms can be helpful if you delay.

  4. Not every sexual activity involves inserting the penis into the vagina. The duration of sex does not indicate your partner's happiness. Love your partner, educate yourself about female masturbation, and provide your partner with a climax or orgasm.

I hope this helps. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
