Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I want to ask about something peculiar that happened to me one day before. I went for physiotherapy for a lower back pain problem that I had. After lying with my face down and getting the therapy (hot radiation, vibration massage with a device, cables that send electricity and activate the muscles), the last part was a massage session of a few minutes. The area treated was the glutes' lower back and upper half. After a couple of minutes, I started feeling that I was about to get an erection, and I did not want that, so I tried somehow to interrupt it. Before I understood what was going on, I was ejaculating (probably a relatively lower amount of semen than in a normal ejaculation).

The incident was shocking to me. As you can understand, I would never have the purpose for something like that in a room that provides medical services. Unfortunately, the girl doing the massage continued for a couple more minutes, and I hope she did not realize or even suspect that something like this had happened. After a search on the internet, I found something similar, like unintentional ejaculation in a tough workout-gym session due to intense muscle contraction. Naturally, I am upset about the situation. The incident by itself was kind of traumatic as no sexual mood or purpose existed in this room, and I would not like to have such an experience in a public place. However, I am really worried, thinking if this is due to muscle contraction or premature ejaculation, as I have never had anything like this before. I cannot imagine the girl who did the physiotherapy understanding this, and I am incredibly anxious as I have more sessions as advised by my orthopedist. What could be the reason for this, and what would you suggest? Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern, and this is quite normal. It can happen to anyone. There is no need to be stressed because of this. We routinely see many times during ultrasonography of the lower abdomen when the patient ejaculates unintentionally. There are many ways erection and ejaculation can occur. Even if it happens during sleep and there is nightfall. Nerves can get stimulated by sight, touch, sight, hearing, etc. So it is normal to have it.

Kindly revert in case of queries.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Thank you for your quick reply doctor.

So, there is nothing to worry about, and I can continue the rest of the sessions? I do not want this to happen again. Also, this is not a kind of premature ejaculation as this happened without any penis stimulation. I know about ejaculation during sleep, which has happened many times, and I knew it was normal but contrary to this.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Yes, you can continue with the therapy, even though it can happen again. So, do not worry about it; I know it isn't very pleasant. You can masturbate once before going for this therapy. If you still have concerns, you can get an online doctor prescription on the second thought.

Thank you.
