Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am a student preparing for a competitive exam. The problem is I am good at memorizing, and I know if I study consistently, I will do great, but I procrastinate a lot. I am quite slow in doing daily things and feel low in energy while doing daily activities. I always think I will start tomorrow, but I waste my day, and then I feel anxiety in my legs at night. I start another day with a positive mindset, but things keep repeating like a loop, and deep down, no matter how much I try to stay positive, I am scared of myself. I do not doubt my capabilities but am I scared of myself that I will do it again and again, the same thing. I want to change, but nothing is changing. My exams are coming near. I have failed previously in this exam I do not want to fail again. I feel anxious, and I am scared.
What should I do?
Am I depressed deep down? I am not sure whether I am.
How can I change myself?
I have very less time. I cannot improve slowly. I have to make a big change as I have less time for exams.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your situation. You must stop procrastinating. There is no medication to deal with it. You are the only person who can do it. There is no meaning if you are so talented until you are not a hard worker. A hardworking person can beat any talented person.
You need to make a schedule and stick to it. Do not prepare alone. Make three-person groups and study together. Do meditation to deal with your anxiety. Take the help of seniors for proper exam preparation guidelines. Do smart, hard work. I hope that you get my points.
Please let me know if you want some help.
Thank you
