What causes of skin rash after having protected sex?

Hi doctor,
A month ago, I had protected sex, and then two weeks ago, I started getting a rash on my right arm near the wrist. I consulted a doctor who thought it might be shingles. He then put me on a seven day regimen of Famciclovir. Over the next week, I got another blister on the back of the arm, the other arm, my leg, my hip, and the back of my foot. This past week, I now have more on my neck, upper back, and right forearm. This one is harrowing. I have not got a single rash or blister on or anywhere near my genitals or anus. Please help.
