Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 27-year-old male. I have been suffering from psoriasis for the last four years. Now, it is spreading across my body. Please suggest to me how to control it.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

See, psoriasis is an autoimmune condition. It can be controlled, and there can be years of remission, but it may keep coming and going. If you could send me a few photos and details, I will be able to help you in a proper manner.

  1. Which areas of the body did it start from?
  2. At present, where on the body do you have the lesions?
  3. Do you have scaling on your scalp, too?
  4. What medications have you taken?
  5. Did a doctor diagnose the condition?
  6. Has anyone in your family suffered a heart attack or has any cardiac condition?

Medication can be prescribed after I get these answers. I will have to assess whether you need topical or oral medication. Plus, my advice is never to start homoeopathy or ayurvedic treatments. They do more harm than good and do not wait much to initiate treatment. Psoriasis worsens in winter.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
