Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 38 years old male. Four months back, suddenly, I had a weight loss of up to 22.0 pounds. I lost my muscle mass. My muscles are very loose in my entire body. Fatigue after food, especially in the afternoon, from 5 pm to 9 pm.

I took all the tests.

  1. Thyroid.
  2. Sugar level.
  3. Cholesterol test.
  4. RBC and WBC.
  5. Platelet test.

All the tests are normal.

What is the problem for me?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I just read your query, and I am surprised at how you lost 22.0 pounds without any effort, and still, your blood tests were normal. Usually, any underlying infection can cause this.

Did you have any respiratory infections at that time?

You now have loose body tissues due to this sudden weight loss. I suggest you do a chest X-ray just to be sure that there is nothing wrong. Try to do muscle toning exercises using weights, smaller ones, and pilates. If you have fatigue after food, then try eating lighter meals. Try to walk daily for 30 minutes. De-stress yourself with yoga or meditation.

Sometimes after losing weight suddenly, our body tries to compensate for it by making us slow and thereby conserving energy.

I hope you find my advice of some benefit.

Good luck.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
